Previously, the Wertfreigrenze limit was CHF 300.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Federal Council, the aim of this regulation change is to limit shopping tourism. In this way, the government is fulfilling the mandate of the relevant committee of the National Council and the two citizens&#8217; initiatives.
